Nantes Tattoo Convention – September 11–13
First to get stained purple: Nantes.
And it’s a big one.
Nantes turns 20 this year – a convention that was already running before half the room switched to cartridges. Nearly 380 artists are heading into the Parc des Expositions de la Beaujoire, and Revolution Needles is right there in the thick of it as a sponsor.
The contests run all weekend. Friday puts fine line, traditional and new school to the test. Saturday goes darker with blackwork, ornamental and neo-trad. Sunday brings design, Japanese and realism, plus Best of Show.
Different styles. Different demands on a needle. And the winners don’t walk away empty-handed: Revolution goes into the prize pile.

The Ink Factory – Lyon, September 18-20
Nantes packs up. Five days later, Lyon fires up.
The seventh Ink Factory takes over Halle Tony Garnier for three days, bringing tattoo artists from around the world under one roof.

Angers Tattoo Fest – October 3-4
Next stop: Angers. Back on sponsor ground.
Two weeks later, the Revolution rolls into the Parc des Expositions for the second Angers Tattoo Fest. More than 130 artists. Revolution back in the mix as a sponsor with Lucky 7 Supplies bringing samples and
prizes for the contest winners.
By then, France will already have a few purple marks on the map.
Then again, leaving our mark on France is nothing new.
